Commonly used paper material in packing
? Wood-free paper for manual and printed sheet, normally 70gsm
? Art paper for cover sheet, general is 100 gsm
? Art card for blister card, general is 350-400 gsm
? It can be in HDPE or LDPE
? Bubble bag provides better shock protection with thicker layer.
? Foam bag can provide better cosmetic protection for preventing scratch.
? Polysheet placed in-between blister or clamshell packing for prevent scratch
on blister surface.
Transparent clamshell or blister
? Always need recycle marking on the plastic packaging material.
? They are using vacuum forming process into different shape. It can be positive
forming or negative forming process.
? Recycle identity for different plastic material required by Green regulation.

Cheap packing material that offer acceptable clearance and strength.Can be
high-frequency weld.
Expensive than PVC, It is lighter, better transparency and strength than PVC.
From environmental view, PET is easier degradable than PVC. APET is general
use for packing. PETG has better adhesion strength for high-frequency welding.
Offer various colors that usually as inside spacer for product support.

? E-flute corrugate board provide better supporting strength.
? plastic sheet – PVC, PS etc. provide design variety but not environmental
Expanded PS (Styrofoam)
? It gives light weight, insulation, good shock protection and thermo protection
for heavy unit or precise equipment.
? Drawback is the non-degradable property and large volume-to-weight ratio
that needs cost in collection for recycling process.
? Many countries ban on using this material for packing unless the product is
heavy weight that need better protection, such as electric washing machine.
