Shipping Container
? When container shipment is required, it needs to calculate max cartons per
container in CBM (cubic meter)
? Standard 20’ container: 5.87 x 2.2 x 2.35 m (L x W X H), 33.2 CBM
? Standard 40’ container: 12 x 2.2 x 2.35 m (L x W X H), 67.7 CBM
? Standard 40’ High-cube container: 12 x 2.2 x 2.66 m (L x W X H), 76.3 CBM
Pallet
? If large qty shipment is required for using pallet, it needs to design carton
dimensions that can utilize the pallet space.
? Cartons can be stacked for each layer for best stability. Pallet shrink warp
sometimes use to secure the cartons on pallet.
? If wood pallet is used for export, it needs environment certification for entering
EU, US, or Canada.
? Common pallet size for different countries
Shipment carton
? It is made from 2-ply or 3-ply corrugated board.
? The weight of one carton with product is better design to be handled by one
person. Suggest to be (25cm L x 20 cm W x 10 cm H) Min. to (60 cm L x 30cm
W x 40 cm H) Max and total weight less than 20 kg.
? Required shipment information and handling information, such as model no,
shipment destination, carton number, handling symbol, net weight, gloss
weight on side mark, etc.
? Transportation vibration and packed carton drop test requirement is needed.
? Unless special request, the carton joining edge should use no metal staple
but use only water-sensitive tape for sealing.
Inner carton
? The product qty per each inner carton can be defined per retail qty to each
store. Also it gives better protection to individual product in additional to
outer carton.
? It is generally made of 1-ply corrugated board.
? Some customer requires printings on the inner carton.
